Hi, I'm Anna and I run and own West Street Bakes! I live (and bake) on West Street in the beautiful Georgian town of Farnham in Surrey with my husband and three children; Oscar, Elliot and Luna. My husband's business (also in West Street) has been here and in his family for over 100 years so when I was thinking of a name, it seemed perfect!
Cakes were never my thing growing up. It was my mum that made the cakes in our house so it wasn't ever anything that I considered doing! I started West Street Bakes after I had my children. Making my family birthday cakes gave me the bug and I soon ended up making cakes for friends and then finally being encouraged to start it professionally.
